The headquarters of the ING Group in Amsterdam is one of the most spectacular buildings of our time. Even before construction began, the design by Roberto Meyer and Jeroen van Schooten had etched itself into the public consciousness, immediately attracting such nicknames as the shoe, the dust buster and the TGV.
