Office KPMG

A new business park is being developed between the A12 motorway and the Plas van Reef lake. A row of office towers will form a barrier between the green surroundings of the lake on one side and the motorway and the railroad line on the other. The office building of KPMG will be the first in this row, adjacent to Ypenburg rail station. The building has a square ground plan around a central atrium. At the entrance hall and the roof terrace the square is interrupted and the building opens up to its surroundings. The facades are clad with ceramic panels. The building stands on top of a raised landscape housing the parking garage underneath. This plinth is continued into the next office buildings in the row.
